The Diamond Chocolate Factory (established 2014) offers an exciting introduction to Grenada’s rich history of growing fine cocoa while indulging your taste buds with mouthwatering organic chocolate. Only the finest cocoa beans goes into making rich smooth bars infused with some of Grenada’s famous spices. Part of the fun is taking a scenic 45 minute drive from the capital St.George’s up the West coast to the parish of St. Mark, where the factory sits in what is a former rum distillery built by French monks in 1774. Enjoy a farm to table agro tour at Diamond’s organic cocoa farm, a factory tour that takes you through Diamond’s special Chocolate making process, taste the fine chocolate and cocoa products or visit the gift shop.
