Wardally who was born in New York and has Grenadian roots, provided a thought-provoking presentation on the nuanced process of creating content and ensuring that it speaks to the intended audience.

This capacity building exercise forms part of the GTA’s strategic focus on digital marketing, which is critical for positioning the destination ’top of mind’ with visitors as worldwide travel increases. The GTA team benefitted from tips based on Wardally’s own recognized work, as they continue to strengthen in house talents and skills to meet the dynamics of the fast paced changing digital landscape.

The Screenwriter who took time off from her visit to meet the GTA team commented, “My voice has been rooted in Grenada from the time I was born. I spent every summer here and have the warmest memories of family, friends and community. It’s always been important to me to give back to the home that has given me so much. I’m inspired daily by our culture and our diverse voices. If sharing what I have learned in the field can help others, I am more than happy to do so. I will always do whatever I can to support my island.”
