Maca Bana is a subtle cocktail of private villa living and boutique hotel charm; perched on a hilltop above white sand Magazine Beach with each villa enjoying gorgeous sea views. Steps away, right on the beach, sits our cosmopolitan Aquarium Restaurant, an island favorite. Set amidst tropical gardens with infinity-edge swimming-pool, all seven sumptuous banas feature fully equipped kitchens and private massaging hot tubs. Nature takes centre stage inside and out, as each villa is individually themed after the surrounding fruit trees and 111 solar panels provide for our guests’ electrical needs. Maca Bana was designed and decorated by fine artist Rebecca Thompson, who also gives private art lessons for guests at inspiring waterfalls and palm-lined beaches, sketching and painting with a picnic provided. Unwind and indulge in spa treatments or private yoga / pilates lessons on your bana’s wind-kissed balcony. Order a chef from The Aquarium to your villa to pamper you with a gourmet meal or learn some of his well-kept, often spicy, culinary secrets in an individual cookery lesson.
