With record visitor arrival numbers logged for 2018, the continued demand for Grenada has positively impacted airlines such as Air Canada and American Airlines, who have announced additional flights in December to bring vacationers to the three-island destination.
St. George’s, Grenada – 24th September, 2018 – Pure Grenada, the Spice of the Caribbean opened its 2018/2019 cruise ship season with an inaugural visit form the Carnival Breeze. The large cruise ship has a capacity of 4,428 passengers and 1,386 crew members.
St. George’s, Grenada – 20th September, 2018 – Pure Grenada, the Spice of the Caribbean welcomed President and Chief Executive Officer of Carnival Corporation Arnold Donald with a unique taste of the tri-island destination. Mr. Donald visited on Wednesday (19th September) after being invited to experience Grenada by Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation Hon. Clarice Modeste-Curwen at the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) Conference in Merida, Mexico.
The Tri Island Destination Trained Over One Hundred Frontline Customer Service Personnel
St. George’s, Grenada – 14th September, 2018 – The Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) has completed three major training programmes geared at improving customer service and experiences in Pure Grenada, the Spice of the Caribbean. The training sessions took place over a three-day period (September 10-12) at the National Stadium Hospitality Centre.

The Government of Grenada is implementing a far-reaching Non Biodegradable Waste Control Act, which begins with the complete ban on the importation of polystyrene commonly referred to as ‘Styrofoam’ effective September 1, 2018.
St. George’s, Grenada – 23rd August, 2018 – The Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) had projected an increase of 5.3% in the arrivals for Spice Mas Carnival 2018. This year’s arrivals surpassed all expectations with a 24.9% increase to 12,379 visitors compared to 9,911 in 2017.
Grenada Named Top Southern Caribbean Cruise Destination and Recognized with Spirit of Yachting Award

For the second straight year, Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique was named a Top-Rated Southern Caribbean Cruise Destination in Cruise Critic’s third annual Cruisers’ Choice Destination Awards.
