GEORGE’S, GRENADA – June 27, 2018 – The Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) is pleased to announce the launch of the Pure Grenada Specialist & Loyalty Program, implemented by Questex Media LLC, one of the leading North American travel trade publishers of e-learning and loyalty based platforms. The comprehensive travel agent university platform is a strategic endeavor utilized by the GTA to promote all the products of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique. With the help of the newly implemented specialist rewards initiative, the platform seeks to incentivize the more than 20,000 registered trade professionals to become an extension of the destination’s marketing and sales team.
St. George’s, Grenada – June 19, 2018 – As part of on-going public relations and marketing efforts to strengthen awareness of the Pure Grenada brand in the U.S. and Canadian markets, the Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) hosted its first-ever media reception in the key gate-way cities of Toronto, on April 20 and New York on May 31. The Toronto event was hosted at one of the city’s premier eateries, George Restaurant and supported by the GTA’s Director of Sales in Canada, Sekou Stroude and Marketing Executive, Renee Goodwin.

ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA – March 1, 2018 – With the final numbers tallied, destination Pure Grenada records total arrivals of 100,654 for January 2018, an increase of more than 30% over January 2017 (75,600). In addition, all visitor categories reflected an increase including Stay over (13, 815) up by 13%, Cruise (82,797) up by 37% and Yachting (4,042) up by 43%.

Launched on Thursday March 1, 2018 at the GTA Headquarters, the two-month local advocacy campaign invites locals, St. George’s University students and alumni as well as the diaspora to share with the world their experiences of Pure Grenada and become ambassadors for the brand.
