What’s more, we’re on the lookout for ambassadors who are always game for pure fun and adventure to spread the word. So upload your best snaps, apply your favourite filters, that’s if you need one, and you could be the face of #FollowGrenada.
Follow Grenada Digital Campaign-Grenada Tourism Authority
Follow Grenada is a digital campaign inviting locals, St. George’s University students and people in the diaspora to share with the world, their experiences of Pure Grenada and become ambassadors for the Pure Grenada brand (local advocacy campaign). Participants are invited to post their photos or videos on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), of their adventures in Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique using the hashtag #FollowGrenada.
Duration- 2 months
a) Anyone currently living in Grenada, SGU students and Grenadians in the diaspora are eligible to participate. The burden of proof will be put on the winners to produce evidence that they are currently living in Grenada, attending SGU or a citizen living abroad that visited the island within the last two years.
b) Evidence to be accepted will include birth certificates, passport scans, SGU IDs and National Identification.
c) Entries must contain the #FollowGrenada hashtag to be valid.
d) Photos or videos must be the original work/property of the person posting.
e) Like and follow at least one of the @discovergrenada social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter or Instagram)
f) By entering the competition, photos become the property of the Grenada Tourism Authority and can be used by the GTA for future tourism promotion purposes.
g) Enter the competition by posting on your social media, using the #FollowGrenada hashtag and tagging @discovergrenada or visiting www.puregrenada.com/followgrenada.
h) The closing date for entries is April 30, 2018.
i) Winners to be announced by May 11, 2018.
j) The prize giving ceremony will be subsequently announced.
k) The GTA is not responsible for airfare if the prize-winner lives outside of Grenada.
l) Winners must submit their original photos or video.
m) GTA employees and their immediate family are ineligible to participate.
Determining the Winner- Three winners will be chosen:
a) One prize will go to the person who has the most likes for a single photo or video across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
b) The second prize will go to the photographer whom has the best photo to be determined by a small panel of photographers. The panel will select the technical criteria.
c) The third prize will go to the person who has the best 30-second video across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
a) Most Likes-All expense paid 2-night stay for a couple at Sandals La Source.
b) Best photo- 2,000 EC dollars
c) Best 30 second video- Day pass for 2 at Sandals La Source
